LEAs must allocate  at least 20% set aside to fund programming that addresses learning loss through implementation of evidence based interventions, such as after school programming or other enriching educational out of school time programming. Programming should address students academic health as well as their social emotional wellbeing. Programming should also address the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 in student subgroups.

Allegiant Prep Academy will be utilizing ESSER III funds to bring on additional staff to support scholars’ social emotional wellbeing, and address academic learning loss as a result of the compromised learning time from the pandemic.
